Dear Barack Obama and John McCain,

We, the American people, have followed you since the very beginning.

We have supported one of you or the other from the get-go,

But now that the presidential race has gotten down to the proverbial wire,

It is time to get down to what`s truly important:

The future of our country.

Not what you two have against each other.

This isn`t a boxing match, to see who can get the most jabs in,

But a bid for what is right for America.

Please don`t waste precious time knocking each other in hatred,

But instead, simply tell us why you deserve to be where you are,

And where you hope to be once you reach the White House…..
